Carie Wright, Director

Carie Wright- Director

My Name is Carie Wright and I am the Director at Gloria Dei Preschool. It is such a joy and a pleasure to work with all of the families and children at Gloria Dei. We encourage love, understanding, and learning in a safe and fun environment!
I am a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Child Care. I have taught all ages, over 7 years working with children professionally: infant – Prekindergarten. Each stage has many exciting developments and discoveries!

Cathy Hartman

-Teacher of the 3-year-old classes

Cathy Hartman has been joyfully serving in the classroom for six years - first as a 3's Teaching Aide and now as the 3's Teacher. Cathy has an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Cathy has a wonderful love for teaching and creative ideas continue to abound adding to the children's preschool experience.

Cathy and her three children are members of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and reside in Hudson, along with her husband Sal.

 
Sherry Baylor and Sherry Foss

Sherry Baylor

-Teacher of the 4-year-old classes

Sherry Baylor joined Gloria Dei Preschool in September 2010. Sherry has a B.A. degree in Elementry Education from Mount Union College. She has been involved with Early
Childhood Education for 26 years. Sherry believes in providing a loving, nurturing environment to meet the needs of each individual child.
Sherry has been married for 29 years and has one daughter at High School. She resides in Hudson and has been a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church since 1966.

 

Sherry Foss

-Teacher of the PreK class

Sherry Foss joined Gloria Dei Preschool in January 2011.Sherry is a graduate of Ashland University and have worked in the non-profit, business and education fields. Most recently I have been a guest teacher at St. Barnabas School in Northfield Center.

Sherry's hope is that your child will love coming to school each day, because they know they are going to learn something incredible, create a “masterpiece”, sing, dance, play and have THE best time!

Sherry has two children who attend St. Barnabas School.
